Been a while since i posted a dj-mix, so here it goes! A few days old (and excellent) mixtape by brittish techno producer Duke Dumont, signed to Turbo Recordings. It’s packed with a lot of his own recent stuff, aswell as tracks from his forthcoming EP ‘For Club Play Only #1′, which will be released May 21 on Turbo. Really sad news that Adam Yauch aka. MCA of The Beastie Boys past away yesterday. Beastie Boys were one of my all time favorite bands. They had it all: from Hardcore punk to hiphop to funk & jazz to the best music videos ever! True legends!
Earlier this week i was walking around in Brooklyn listening to Beastie Boys, thinking about when i saw them at the Roskilde Festival back in ´98 on the big stage infront of 70.000 people, that show was so amazing! I also saw them at the same festival ´07. so good. so intense. so new. so fresh. damn, this is really sad. Our thoughts goes out to his loved ones.
Rest In Peace Adam, You will be truly missed.
