MRTN

Take one of Sweden´s biggest DJs, put him in a studio together with Robyn´s drummer and you get the producer duo: MRTN

The Dj Mrtn (Sthlm Beat) and the drummer Pomp have worked together since spring of 2010, and their debut track ‘High’ was released august 2010. ‘High’ is a raving floor filler that was produced with one purpose in mind only, to destroy any dance floor.

They also did an Rebirth Station remix for the track ‘Cities’. The remix was featured on a tv-commercial during the fall of 2010.

Until september 2011 they called them self MRTNxPOMP but then decided to change the name to simply: MRTN

During 2011 Mrtn Sthlm Beat and Pomp finally managed to finish their debut EP, even though they both were on separate tours all spring and summer: Mrtn Sthlm Beat doing DJ sets all over Europe and Pomp as Robyn´s drummer all over the world.
The MRTN debut ep is released in November 2011 on Top Billin Music.

So let me get this straight…
when MRTN makes music it´s a duo?
yes, it´s Mrtn Sthlm Beat and Pomp under the name MRTN.

when MRTN Dj´s it´s just one guy?
yes, it´s Mrtn Sthlm Beat.

but if it says MRTN (Live) on the poster?
then it´s a live set with both Mrtn Sthlm Beat and Pomp.

In 2012 watch out for the MRTN live experience. and as always the massive MRTN Dj sets.
