MACHINERY OF THE NIGHT

Machinery of the Night is a electronic music collective based in Alabama, led by the two anonymous producers formerly known as Dirty Little Secret(whom we posted about here). Seven Systems,  MOTN’s debut album, is a concept piece in seven parts with each part representing the mood and feelings of a day out of the week. I can safely say this is one of my favourite albums of 2011 so far and the fact that it’s rare to find a dance music album that works this good as a whole or with a concept as clearly realized as this makes it even better. “The idea was to bring back the whole album experience. Not just a collection of songs, but a complete work that taken in all at once is greater than the sum of its parts”.

The album is set for a April 19th release, so be sure to pick it up when it comes out, but we have the privilege to be one of the few blogs to be able to offer you the first two singles off the album, Thursday and Tuesday, right now and as free downloads! Don’t sleep on this, people!
